All students have an hour of PE each week. The program of instruction includes teaching students the basic skills associated with many common sports and activities, as well as encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. New Gisborne Primary School is part of the Macedon Ranges Sports Association and we compete regularly throughout the year in a variety of sports including swimming, tennis, soccer, football, netball, basketball, cross country and athletics.
Students are provided with a wide range of experiences covering dance, drama and music culminating in our end of year concert.

Students are provided a varied and stimulating program of instruction in Visual Art which covers the curriculum from Foundation to Year 6.
All students participate in Indonesian lessons for one hour each week. The Indonesian program involves a range of language activities, including games, conversation, songs, art and craft. Students are also provided with the opportunity to explore cultural diversities within a colourful Indonesian classroom.
