1:1 Digital Learning
Continuing the success of the New Gisborne Primary School 1:1 Technology for Students Program, the school introduced the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Program in 2016. All students in Years 4-6 have their own iPad to use at school and home.

iPads were found to provide a greater level of flexibility in enabling students to easily access a wide range of applications and online tools to help with their learning. This enhances the students’ ability to create, innovate, communicate and develop their 21st Century Skills using a device that is portable and intuitive.

Students in Years Foundation – 3 have access to class sets of iPads that are shared between the grades at each level.
